With saz player and double bass. There was also an excellent violinist and percussionist in her band at The Sanctuary - concert put on by the Music Halls Project
Had been very tired and not wanting to go, but so glad I did. A great show of traditional music from Anatolia (modern day Turkey) and also Cyprus fused with jazzy grooves - she sings in Turkish, Armenian and Kurdish, and writes some of the material too.
