Thanks Nicole. I think it will become permanent. the location may change. The city is just starting to get back on its feet. Over 1000 buildings have been demolished in the CBD.
Very interesting memorial...looks very temporary, which perhaps emphasises the temporary nature of life, and that is exactly what natural disasters remind us of as well...
