Hammerfest is the world's most northerly town. Other smaller towns have tried to claim this honour but apparently they aren't big enough to call themselves towns! We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for our visit to Hammerfest. We took a walk up a steep path to a view point for this picture. We must come again as we only had an hour here. Not nearly long enough.
Beautiful capture. Very nice to be able to claim that you have been at the most northerly town. I have been in the most southernly town... LOL (and there is also a similar dispute...)
