Beach at Cape Foulwind by busylady

Beach at Cape Foulwind

The beaches here are so wide, flat and beautiful. This was on the way to see the seal colony at Cape Foulwind. Captain Cook named it Foulwind because he was moored off here for many days because of the foul winds. We saw lots of seals basking in the sun but they were a long way off, so a bit difficult to spot on a photograph.
What a lovely setting. It looks like it could be a painting.
