The weather was only fit for a visit to a museum on Sunday so we visited the submarine museum at Gosport near Portsmouth. This is the harbour at Gosport. I have lots of pictures taken inside the submarine but it was difficult to convey a feeling of how cramped it was inside. The tour however was very interesting and well worth the trip.
At least submarines are waterproof. I went in a version of one in the Imperial War Museum and felt very claustrophobic especially when the attack alarms went off.
Looks miserable out there - isn't there some America's cup racing there at the moment - or should be - I think it was postponed because of the weather!
