St Neots garden by busylady

St Neots garden

This little garden overlooks the River Great Ouse in St. Neots. The mosaic is a recent addition and commemorates the Queen's Golden Jubilee, 1952-2002. A pretty garden but not accessible to the public at the moment, so I had to take this from the bridge over the river. The scaffolding top right is a bit of an eyesore in the town as it overlooks the market square. Lots of legal wranglings have taken place over the last few years to try and have some sort of new development in this old pub.
A beautiful mosaic centrepiece - perhaps a bit too elegant for the pretty cottage-like garden - Nice shot for your effort Judith !

Lucky to be able to see it -- someone has put a lot of time into curating this space.
