Evening primrose

I was surprised to see this flowering so late in October. Usually I'm collecting seeds at this time of the year!

Oh, I love them. We had one in our yard when I was a kid. All the neighbor kids would gather around to watch them open! LOL!

Love the way these glow in the dusk. They self-seed in our garden, and young plants have to be moved to the back of borders.
