We had a lot more rain last night and the river in the town is very high again. The Riverside park is built to take the excess water so it made for an interesting walk this afternoon to see how far the water had reached. As you can see the park bench and the bin are almost submerged. Some local villagers have flooded houses and have had to be rescued. What a terrible time for them to be out of their homes, especially in this most difficult of years. I'm thankful that we live well above the water line.
