At the end of the peninsula in Kristinehamn, Sweden, is this 15 metre high sculpture. It is named Jacqueline, after Picasso's wife. Picasso never visited the site, although it was made to his design by two artists. However, it was visited by Picasso's granddaughter, Diana Widmaier, on the 50th anniversary of its inauguration in June 1965.
Well it’s good one of the family has seen it as it’s very impressive. I think Picasso would have approved! Sounds like the wife deserved it too from @cordulaamann remark!
It is located in a fabulous vantage point which seems to be popular with visitors. I am not a fan of Picasso but your picture is so beautifully captured.
