This cross sits next to some Commonwealth war graves in the village church of Scampton. RAF Scampton was home to the famous 633 Dambuster Squadron & now perhaps the even more famous Red Arrows. This was the first time I've wandered around this church yard, despite having lived at RAF Scampton for a few years, some time ago. Another example of the things we do for 365!
Helen and I have been exploring areas in and around our area we've never even bothered with before. I've found some really cool places for future images to be taken. Quite excited about it. 365 - it's a great motivator :) I like this, the cross looks lovely. Graveyards and churches are one of my fav subjects :)
it is funny how you miss visiting certain areas close to where you live. There is a shell museum just down the road from where we live. We have been here 20 years and still not visited.
Thank you for all your lovely comments & favs.
