British Soldiers have been known as Tommys for very many years. This is a perspex Tommy, and there were several of them seated in the pews of St Chads church today, ready for a remembrance service on Sunday evening. These denote missing members of the congregation. They are certainly not easy to photograph! Hopefully I have managed to show most of his outline.
Oh wow- how touching is that?! I think you did a great job capturing it. I do think it would be difficult to get the light just right to show the outline of "Tommy". Good shot!
