Spent about an hour this afternoon watching the Red Arrows fly around practice approaches to land. Not much in way of areobatics, but entertaining never the less. I now know what is like when an aircraft appears out of low sun - you cant see a thing, but you can hear it!
so exciting to see these guys. There are no planes like this in NZ. When we took a kiwi friend back to the UK, he was so excited to see these landing and taking off
