Not the English word for this time of year, but I can see why the Americans use it & it’s so appropriate! As I was trying to construct some sort of arrangement on the garden table, with the berries that had fallen there & maple leaves from the ground, the wind kept blowing them off! So, I had to put them into one of the chairs so that there was shelter from the wind. I liked the colour combinations.Everything is falling !
Makes me think that the weather will be getting chillier now. Lovely composition. I remember 'fall' in the UK or rather 'raking'
I used to spend hours raking up the leaves that had fallen from the trees. My back still aches thinking about it.
