Banks have been Topped

The usual line of the bank would be fairly central in this shot & you can still see it. The higher bank ( that dark line is Phil) is fortunately still above the waterline. This area last month was under threat of bad flooding & people were set to be evacuated from their homes. Fortunately that didn’t happen.
Cloud reflections in the water make it look milky. Nature still manages to look beautiful even in destruction.

The ground I was stood on was saturated. Not seen it this high before, but we've not ventured to 5 Miles during previous storms We did wonder whether we'd actually get to the bridge didn't we
