Today we went to Westonbirt Arboretum & my intention was that my main picture today would be more of the spectacular Autumn colours that are about just now. However, in Britain today there has been a strange phenomenon! Most people will have noticed that the sun was red/ bright orange & the odd coloured sky was casting peculiar light! The explanation was that hurricane Ophelia, which we are experiencing the tail end of, had picked up Saharan dust & this was causing this weird spectacle! Both Phil & I remember seeing this sort of thing when lived in Cyprus, but never seen it here!
