T'is the season of the conker & children, certainly all over Britain will be going in search of these shiny beauties. For hundreds of years there has a been a game of Conkers (where you try & smash your opponents conker with yours, whilst they both threaded on string), but these days the health & safety brigade have deemed it too dangerous for the school playground, after all you are not supposed to have fun!
This was a low key capture once I got it home.
They went and banned conkers in most of the schools, silly people. PC gone too far methinks! My favourite game in Autumn as a child and I would still happily play now :)
Brilliant shot. I used to love playing conkers when I was a child. I can't help feeling that the world has gone soft these days. Half the fun was the injuries we sustained, ha ha. We are raising a generation of wimps these days. fav
