As I am at the hospital daily with a family member who is undergoing Radiotherapy currently, I am using April to post Memory Shots from 2014. I did a list that year of "50 Things To Do in the Year that I am 50", so it is nice to look back at places I visited that year.
We spent New Year in the Lake District and enjoyed good wintry walks in the chill brightness.
A place I would gladly return to after visiting a good number of years ago and staying there for three days in fabulous weather and sunshine. Thank you for sharing this lovely picture and scene.
Sorry to hear about your family member. My wife had to undergo radiation therapy some years ago and I know how hard it can be. I hope the treatment is successful as it was with my wife.
A lovely shot, with the trees along the lake shore beautifully highlighted - fav! I hope your family member copes well with the Radiotherapy and that it soon helps towards healing.
Your lovely photo popped up right under @countrylassie photo of Great Gable. I am lucky to see such great photos of our neighbouring county. Sincere good wishes to your family member as they continue their treatment.
