Sometimes this is perceived as a dangerous hobby. I was busy this morning so searching for some inspiration this afternoon. I took my trusty spray bottle filled with water and went out in the back yard. I took some spider shots - no good. Tried the clematis unfurling - too late and the light wasn't right. Went to the Lamb's Ear and actually liked those. Then I decided to try what I had gone out to do. I laid down on the driveway and proceeded to try and mist the grass for a hanging drop shot. Well, first the spray bottle misfired and got me right in the face. OK. Not a big deal. Wiped myself off and adjusted the bottle. I misted and misted and really wasn't getting anywhere when the next thing I knew I the two little girls from next door are standing over me asking if I am alright. Guess they didn't expect to find their grandmother's neighbor flat out on the driveway. So sweet to know that they are watching over me. And sad to know that they think I am so old that I need watching over......
So, guess what shot you are getting.
I need to remember today and don't know a better way to do it than to keep the shot.
I hope you are laughing with me......
Thanks for sharing the story of your day with us. It made me smile and giggle. i love that the two little girls care enough about you to make sure you were ok!
@marlboromaam That is becoming my truth Maggie. I spend too much time with this now but am loving it. So I take it back, I spend just the right amount of time.
Cathy, Cathy - I love that you are willing to give this story to us! Good thing they didn't call 911 - and the shot is lovely. Isn't it amazing you would need the mister after yesterday's storms?
@gerry I'm fine Gerry. Thanks for asking. Just a little hurt pride that to little girls I'm meant to be watched over. But by the same token I know they are there if I need them.
And I was having fun.
