We're home! Thanks for all of your comments and favs over this past week. Like all vacations, our week went way too fast. This guy always has to get back to go to work - and I hate it! But maybe I'll be a little bit more understanding. When we got home last night Tom got his messages off of his work phone. As it stands, the numbers are finally in with one month left to go in their year. Tom is the #1 Terminix Tech in the entire country! That means we really are going to Maui in January! And with deluxe accommodations at the Ritz. The only times that I have ever flown in my life have been on Terminix dime. We've been to Hawaii once years ago on the big island, Acapulco (didn't like that one), Jamaica, Cancun x2, The Dominican Republic. This will be a dream trip for us.
But I so loved the one we just came home from. Nothing heals my like the mountains. Even the dogs love it. Busy day today and a wedding tonight of a girl from church. Last wedding for our beautiful old sanctuary.
I took this shot last night at Spring Grove. When we got home we went out to get the two cycle pansies for out front and stopped to grab a shot. The trees need to change a little more.
I love my holidays too, makes everything else worthwhile. I am however very jealous that you are going to Hawaii, fantastic. I like to go one day but its an awful long way from my home!
Love your newsy commentary & your man has deserved his reward, he is obviously a very contentious worker who's work has paid off! Congratulations & have a wonderful time in January! Hope he manages to relax & put work out of his head while he is a away!!! I have a man exactly like that ...always thinking about the farm & what needs to be done even though we have retired now.
