So Sad......so green by cdonohoue

So Sad......so green

This is a sad shot in so many ways but I am using it anyway as my green shot. Tom put the tree up! But all of the ornaments are still in the attic. I bought this handmade wool ornament last week at Winterfair and it does have a green heart. The sad part is that all of the ornament hooks are also in the attic so I put it on the tree with a bag clip.......now how sad is that.
lol I was thinking today... I wonder how it would look to use wooden clothespins to hang some ornaments by... this at least gives me some visual. I love the wool ornament!

Very clever. At least you got your challenge word and you have a very pretty ornament for when you get your fasteners.

Not sad at all - it's "thinking outside the box"! I use paper clips bent open - they work well for me.

That's not sad... it's making the best out of the circumstances. Beautiful ornament.

HA! Our tree is so sad. It is a prelit one with only about one string of the lights working.

I wonder if it is common to decorate the Christmas tree three weeks before Christmas? In Germany we use to do that at the 24th of December.

@noragentian When i was growing up in N.Y. Ruth we always waited untill the week of Christmas to get the fresh cut tree and decorate it! Since i have lived in the south...i notice they start decorating thier tree and homes right before or after Thanksgiving...a little to early for me...I loved that you said " In Germany" ..as that is my Family Heritage..mostly German...so i wonder if that is why my family waited so long?...Thanks for that info...:)

Think some one will need to go up to the attic soon. Although a tree with one decoration could be interesting.
