OK. I admit it. I'm in a bit of a funk - I didn't even pick my camera up yesterday. I think it is because I got to go to paradise and take shots you can only dream about in Ohio, came home and had to deal with the recurring back issues and that just makes me mad. And then, .......you get the picture. So, enough of that nonsense. I went out to Target today and bought Tom a little something for Valentine's Day, which is fast approaching. We both love a good cup of coffee. Not Starbucks - my fav right now is Maui Coffee Growers chocolate macadamia. So, I bought him a grinder and a press. Sort of a back handed gift since I will certainly be right there to enjoy it with him. But he will like it.
I took the camera out on an extremely rare sunny afternoon and found that I have lots of tulips coming up. Makes my heart feel all warm and fuzzy. I took this shot of the Bottle Tree from the bottom up - and then I played with it!
Very funky shot and processing. Yeah for tulips and signs of spring. Welcome back to OH...at least we have sunshine and it is a tad warmer today. It's funny to me how warm 30 feels now!
@cromwell That d&%# thing smiles at me now when it sees me coming. I need help to get out of my funk - and then, my man, it will be me and the flowers and you will tune out!
Wow! It's like a neon sign. Very cool processing. I think it's hard to come home to mundanity when you've had an enjoyable, photo filled trip. You'll get back into it I'm sure. I hope your back improves and stops giving you grief xx
I love what you have done with this! Fabulous processing!. Gotta have the downs to appreciate the ups and it will be up again before you know it, Cathy!
Here it is, Pat, covered in snow. It makes lovely light - when the sun shines.
I remember having the post-holiday blues when we got back last year. Keep clicking away, it comes back. :)
I smiled at your comment about buying your husband a gift that you will enjoy together--I THINK THAT IS GREAT!!!!
