This is no great shot - but it has loads of great things in it. I should have climbed on a chair to get an angle on this bookcase - but that isn't happening right now. This bookcase was made by my Dad. He built a sideboard in the dining room and asked my Mom if she wanted shelves or a pass through from the kitchen; you can see what she chose. So this goes from the mid serving area to the ceiling. On the top shelve are some of my Mother's breakable treasures and a few of mine. Tom is an amateur magician. All of the secrets that you want to know about magic tricks are hidden away here in a part of his library. He has been collecting these for years. There is a fair amount of money tied up in these books. Some of my ceramic dogs are here also. At least I got the word for the day.
Thats the perfect angle........sitting on the floor looking up as I was this morning!! How funny Vivian also has 'magic' books, mostly Victorian conjurors tricks.as in how to saw the lady in half!!!
