This is so very sad.
The word of the day is breakfast. My cereal just wouldn't cut it. Who wants to see off brand rice crispies? So I had the, I thought, brilliant idea to shoot Charlie & Maggie's breakfast. Only I could open the can upside down on photo day. But, in my defense, who is wide aware and shooting minutes after the whining begins. The Corgs are my alarm clock. Tom has been long up and lets them out - but I am the breakfast and medication lady. Maggie lets Charlie handle this for her. He starts whining at about 7:15am. By 7:30 he is in full Corgi "I want you now" voice. Time change is coming up. It is much more difficult to reset Charlie's clock than the others in the house. They get 2/3 cup grain free kibble and two dollops of pumpkin. They love that stuff. It is like Corgi Crack.
Well, I'm sure the corgis enjoy it, but have to say it looks pretty revolting to me..... give me toast and marmalade any day! Bless you for opening the tin upside down!
@happypat Go to Discuss up above on blue heading, choose themes and competitions and then scroll down to find Mull over March - there should be a link there to the words Bulldog is the Boss.
Aaaw !! Cathy , .. I 'm still chuckling away here !! breakfast ,!! " corgi rules !! upside down can !! AND Corgi Crack !! ..on a more serious note --beautiful B&W image of the whole scene --love it !!
Thanks for the tip.....My little girl Dori, also a corgi feels like I am starving her to keep her weight down. It had been suggested I add pumpkin to her food as a filler, so I am glad to hear that your dog's love it. Makes me feel better about trying it.
@corgimom We also have done many the round of orthopedics though the years. The last guy told me to give them frozen green beans (right out of the freezer) and carrots. Mine love both of them and hardly ever get a "treat" any more that isn't good for them. Corgis and aging and weight are a bad combination.
How funny. Why pumpkin? It must be good for them. Love your description...and that you opened the can up upside down on photo day. So something I would do:)!
