What a difference a day, and some sleep, makes in your attitude. I have seen these little ones sticking their heads up. We had enough sun this afternoon to make them open up! I am so excited. I can't quite get down to get a good shot - but at this point I'll take what I can get and smile since it really is in my own back yard.
I've sat in meetings the last two nights about the church. These are hard times for a congregation that is 126 or so years old. The building is on the market and there is interest in it. We are looking at space to rent - but nobody is happy.
We, too had sun today..........after a really heavy frost, and feel totally uplifted............good to be alive again feeling !! and what a lovely shot of your crocuses to celebrate!!
Yes, like Fanny, I also felt much brighter today - mainly because we have had some sun and the morning started with a nice crisp frost instead of the wet snow we have been having. These crocuses are wonderfully vibrant and it does you good just to look at them.
Oh, I'm so happy for you, Cathy... and a lovely photo it is! Mine are not even poking through the ground yet and usually they are by this time so I'm worried that we did something to kill everything last year... neglect won't do that to bulbs, will it? :) I think that 's the only thing I'm guilty of when it comes to my garden.
Much better Cathy, your hear must lift but not good on the church front having to move from your church home...hope thing resolve to everyone's satisfaction & soon.
I feel your anguish as regards your church ,but God is good in bringing forth this beautiful regal coloured crocus in your garden --a beautiful image Kathy
Wonderful colour!
So sad to hear you are proceeding with the sale. All I can think to say is the congregation makes the church, not the building, so you hang in there and protect your community.
Thrilled for you to have the crocuses! does that mean you aren't coming to Alabama? Sad for the painful process of finding a new building for your church

And things will work out for your congregation. That's the nice thing about churches. Faith ALWAYS prevails.
