Thomas Patrick Donohoue III - My Irishman

There was no doubt in my mind about the perfect shot for today. My most beloved Irishman.

The family story is that when Great Grandpa came over from the old sod, he took the O' from the front of O'Donohue and stuck it behind the H. He didn't want anyone to hold the Irishness against him as they weren't so well thought of back then - nobody wanted to pretend to be Irish for the day and drink green beer.

The first Thomas Patrick owned a pub over in Ireland. We aren't real sure were anymore. I think I have heard County Cork. I love this guy - more than I thought possible to love another human being. I often say that he is a saint - at the very least, mine.
I can see a little Irish glint in those eyes too Cathy...has he got the gift of the Blarney Stone?
