Lavender Hills of Kentucky

We took about an hour drive this afternoon to the Lavender Hills of Kentucky Farm. I thought it would be in full bloom as my lavender is. She said it peaked in June. I was sort of disappointed - but we enjoyed talking to the lady. I took some shots just for the heck of it. I found this little lovely. He's prettier larger.
Excellent capture and I like your perspective. I haven't seen many butterflies this year.

Love the detail in the antennae! My lavender is still blooming too. I guess that's because live a little further north?
