This one is near and dear to my heart. We went to Spring Grove Cemetery last night for the lantern lighting ceremony. It is a celebration of life if there ever was one. They have a band playing, face painting and families picnicking around Willow Lake. You can buy a shade and decorate it in memory of those who are no longer with us. I did one and put one of our parents on each side. The folks sitting next to us were there for a child. At dusk a bag piper begins to play, the lanterns are lit and set afloat on the lake - a couple of thousand. It is such a sight to see.
Beautiful colors and reflections in your shot, Cathy.
