Cool nights and warm afternoons are a welcome change from the heat of summer. But part of me hates to see the winter approach. My mother told me not to wish my days away - and, like always, she was right. But winter keeps me in more than I would like. After getting over something as silly as falling on my face, I'm a little more aware of bad sidewalks and slippery footing.
