This is not what I set out to do - but I love it. I was trying for heart shaped bokeh, had my homemade lens hood on a different lens than I used last year and my little gazing ball. I took a few shots and then this happened. So, consider yourselves carded. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, my best in the coming year - whatever you may celebrate this is my card to you. I'm celebrating our relationship with this heart. I care about you. I love seeing what you are doing, where you live and who you love. And I share all of that with you, not quite every day this second year but I'm trying.
Whatever you had hoped to achieve -- this happy accident is superb - your words are so loving & lovely -- may you and your family enjoy the Peace and Joy of Christmas and Health & Happiness in 2014
Thanks for the card and sending out the love! haha I still don't get how you made the heart shape...is that one of those deals where you hold the stencil shaped card in front of the camera and it makes your bokeh shaped like it? I have never tried it and do not "get" how it works! I need to try it, I guess.
@cdonohoue Why did it not work to make the heart bokeh? Do you know? I must try this! While my tree is up. So the shape is very small right? If you used a punch to make it...
@espyetta I got the punch at Michael's. I think it didn't work as planned because I had a different lens on the camera when I tried this. So, I got the entire shape - and I liked it. But the cover, back on the lens it was made for and it come right up to the glass will give me heart shaped bokeh. It's fun.
Beautiful Christmas tree in a heart shaped frame :)
