It's December the 24th. Most of the gifting part of the holiday happened here on Sunday when I had my entire family gathered round the table - 12 in all. My son's and the ones they love, my grandson, granddaughter and her two little ones and Andy's Gina's boys. Chaos Central - and I loved every minute of it. From 62 to 14 months - the entire circle of life was laid out before me. There was time for joy and some tears.
Today we went to Krohn Conservatory with at least half of Cincinnati to see the holiday display. It is gorgeous! Tonight we will have BBQ sandwiches (tradition) and church. Tomorrow will be Andy and some long time friends for dinner. I'm blessed. As we stopped in at the manger scene at Krohn I realized that almost all of my prayers these days are "Thank You, Lord."
Alovely white poinsettia really gives the feeling of serenity & peace How lovely Cathy to have all the family around you last Sunday and it seems like a cosy day on Christmas day -So nice to realise and count your blessings when visiting the Crib May the Peace &Joy of Christmas be with you & yours and health and happiness in the New Year !
Lovely sentiments Cathy.....Christmas is a wonderful family time....I miss my two boys & their families so much at this time of the year . We have spoken to one already just after they had opened their presents & of course to hear about the new baby. I know they all miss us too but are happy over in NZ & we are lucky to see them reasonably often. Lots to thank God for indeed . Have a wonderful Christmas!
is peace, health, happiness and prosperity
in the coming New Year and a Blessed Christmas Cathy ツ
