I love my zoo pass. On a blustery afternoon we went down specifically to see the Penguin Parade. They walk them around in front of the bird house during the month of January. It was in the high 40's in Cincinnati today but it was really windy. After the parade we had to go to one of the outposts for hot chocolate and cookies! I'm really behind. I'm so sorry and will try to catch up. I've been working on cleaning out a little part of our basement to not only organize all of my photography stuff, but hang up a back drop that I scavenged from church and some of Dad's old shop lights. We'll see what happens. It is a good winter project but has been taking a lot of time. If you start cleaning up one part of the basement it ends up extending to all of it......
Love the colors in this and the small child "included for scale!" I never realized how big these penguins are before!
What you're experiencing in your basement is what my former boss used to call, "Picking up a piece of string and finding there's an elephant attached!"
They look so happy to be out marching about and wooing the crowds. Fantastic shot! It is funny how cleaning and organizing leads to more cleaning and organizing - but so worth it in the end. Have fun with it, you will be so happy when you are done.

I' m sure it feels good to have some of the basement done but don't let it interrupt your fabulous photos.
Great fun, and great photo!
