We leave for the Dominican Republic on Wednesday for Terminix Winter Conference. I'm so proud of my husband. He is the #1 Tech in the Terminix Nation for two years in a row. He works very hard as a commercial technician - for P&G, Smuckers and many more. In between all of the mad packing for a trip like that, our ridiculous weather which I will be happy to get away from even if it is the kind of place that you can't leave the resort and now my son is sick - with no insurance. You can teach on the college level and not be insured. So I met him at the clinic this morning because he is a bit short on funds to that I could pay the $200 dollars for the dx and prescription.
Anyway, to calm my overworked gray matter I am still playing with the gerbera daisies. I was fooling with focus and ended up with this - and I like it!!
I hope to catch up soon and see what is going on with all of you. I think this silly weather is making folks sort of pull in and warm hands over candles.
Congrats! Beautiful photo! All my best to your son - the way we treat teachers now is a national shame. Have fun on your trip and be sure to catch us upon your travel photos! I know what you mean about pulling in and staying warm!
I like the way it looks like it's drawing you in as the colour gets deeper towards the centre. I hope you have a good trip and all the best to your son xx
This is a pretty abstract Cathy....lovely creamy rosy colours.
Well done to your talented husband, how well he has done to get to #1. Enjoy the conference ...a fantastic trip for you both.
Sorry your son is ill....hope he bucks up soon....so interesting to hear of you having to pay for treatment....we are luckier than we realise with our National Health Service...take it for granted!
