It is only fair to show Maggie as she walks on our outdoor ice rink. Suffice it to say that we are all getting a bit tired of it - but it is way too cold for it to go anywhere soon. I think it was about 4 degrees when I got up this morning. I know it hurts their feet as they do not linger in the yard.
It is getting a bit old being in all week. My street has not been touched so it is still covered in ice. The main roads are fine, though. I just don't want to end up in my across the street neighbor's front yard.
Goodness, what you have had to put up with! My son in Tokyo is saying that all the food has been bought off the shop shelves because they are expecting a bit of light snow!
We're all getting tired of it! We gave in and bough Murphy a pair of booties. After the first few steps, which were pretty funny to watch, he figured it out and now wears them like a trooper. They protect his pads from the salt on the roads, the ice that burns his pads, and prevents balls of snow from accumulating between his pads.
