I almost feel guilty uploading as I have been very absent from all of you. I'm still doing hospital duty. Nancy was still in the ICU today but off of the vent and talking. Everybody should have a little old lady in their lives. When my Mother died, Nancy filled that spot for me. About three weeks ago she corrected my language! Today the little be talked, we talked about those that await her - her parents and her youngest son who killed himself several years ago. She is resting in one of those "thin places" between here and what lies ahead.
Her heart is worn out - they keep propping her up but she knows it won't be long.
So, if you don't have a little old lady in your life go and find one. I hope that I will be one when someone needs it.
To be of help and support to another one must first meet their own needs. Capturing photos kept me alive through a very dark time....seeing the world and beauty through a safe small lens was medicinal. Omit the guilt and see the gorgeousness of today.
