None of my efforts could ever show the drama and immensity of the place. I kept thinking of the settlers that had made it this far on horse and covered wagon and ran into this!
This is gorgeous Cathy! It takes me back to the days when cowboy movies were big draws and as the movie would open there would be a beautiful long shot like this of the wide open spaces and the colorful rocks and buttes.
I agree with you, but this is wonderful anyway. It was never on my list of places to visit! I was in Flagstaff, so rented a car and went alone! Wow!! I want to go back.
