I have one to mark off my bucket list. Yesterday I officially "paid the Piper." Presbyterians are of Scottish Heritage so for many grand events we hire a "Piper" - and yes, he has shorts on under the kilt, I saw him put it on. We had our for real "Grand Opening" at church yesterday. This has been one of the longest, most difficult journeys that I have taken part in. But we did it. We have a new place to worship, new dreams to dream and hopefully a place for our community to join us in worship and fun.
I'm so sorry that I have been absent lately. Life intervenes and I find I can't always keep up with it!
You chose a great way to celebrate your opening Cathy...nothing like the swirl of the bagpipes! We have been listening to lots if bagpipes this last ten days with the Commonwealth games in Glasgow,
So glad that you're settled into your new church home, Cathy! Until you mentioned watching him dress, I had a mental picture of you lifting a corner of his kilt to take a peek :-)
