This is one of my favorite shots of our entire trip. This is the scenic bend in the Colorado river that carved Dead Horse Canyon. If you look really close at the middle bottom of the shot you can see what vaguely resembles a horse. They told us the legend was that the Indians/cowboys used the canyon to keep their horses. When they left they'd take the good ones and the others would have no water but be in sight of the river below. It was raining the day that we were there (I went back and shot it with blue skies) and I loved the atmosphere in the clouds. Out west the sky is most definitely a huge part of a shot. This is a panorama of the area. We later took a boat ride at the bottom of the river.
