I was just out in the garden experimenting with something that turned into a mammoth fail. I must have looked a bit like Sherlock Holmes wandering around with a magnifying glass and looking at flowers. What I wanted to happen just didn't. We'll leave it at that.
But isn't that what a lot of life turns out to be? Events that fall a bit short of our expectations? I didn't fail at all. I went outside and enjoyed my garden. I did some much needed dead heading and that will bring me more blooms. The dogs had fun trailing me around just like usual. I brought in snaps to play with. So, the perfect day. And now, back to my book.
Thanks to all of you that comment. Please know that I do appreciate it. But I'd rather comment on yours than spend time thanking. I hope that is all right. And yes, this really is the color of my rose.
Gorgeous! Sounds like you had a perfect day. And I'm glad that you don't thank us for commenting - it's what I do as well. Our time is put to better use by commenting and looking at others work.
Spectacular photo. I have missed your daily lessons that i need to be reminded of sometimes. You have such a great way of presenting life. Keep on doing what you are doing.... it works.
