Yoga Rose
For the last several months I have been practicing yoga - and I do mean practicing. I have twisted and turned and breathed my body into positions that I would have bet large sums of money on not being able to achieve. I have opened my mind and my lungs, and now I sound like Timothy Leary. Truthfully, buying a yoga mat and committing to learning something that is this physically demanding is so far out of the realm of what I would have imagined myself doing that I am still slightly amazed. I am also moving better, breathing deeper and proud of myself. I am doing everything that I can think of to solve my own problems my way. Now, instead of Timothy Leary I am channeling my inner Frank Sinatra! I invite each of you to find a new journey and give it a try. Let me know what you are currently doing or what you come up with. I am genuinely interested.
What an absolutely gorgeous color for your rose and the drops on it make it absolutely stunning. Magnificent detail as always, Cathy. You always do such a terrific job with photos of your garden.
2 1/2 years ago I started working out too but with weights and cardio. There is a lot of pain involved but a lot of satisfaction in being able to do things I didn't used to be able to do. It is a work in progress but I understand your sense of accomplishment very well
Stunning rose - such a beautiful colour, and the droplets are perfect. I love doing yoga too. I'm trying to get back into ballet en pointe. I was learning it a few years ago, then my dance teacher stopped running classes, so I stopped too. Now I'm trying to get back into it again.
Beautiful flower, love it!
