We are in the Ohio Amish Country. I just gorged myself on broasted chicken and we were on our way back to the room. I got lucky and found this guy plowing the field. Now bear in mind that each and every row have been done by a single blade with four horses pulling him along. They live a very devoted lifestyle to give up so very much - as I sit here with my laptop and my iPad plugged in and my batteries charging. We are known as Englishers to the Amish.
I really admire them.

Beautiful light and color to this one Cathy! Terrific composition too. @alophoto posted a shot last week and said they didn't like to have their photo tgaken so I was wondering if he didn't know you took it or was ok with it being from behind

In some ways I envy their simple ways, but I don't think I could give up my own 21st century home comforts..! Great shot

@grammyn That is one reason that I shot from behind so that his face would not be seen. I try to be respectful and yet a photographer

@alophoto We were in Charm for this one. We went all over the place down our favorite back roads. It is such a step back in time.
