Today we took the Kankamagus Highway. It was an outstanding drive. I was able to walk to the Lower Falls. The size of these rocks is simply humongous. I read a blurb on a sign that when this part of the earth was being formed the magma kept pushing the higher levels of rock up even further and then they cracked. However it happened, it is outstanding. And the drive is really twisty so very popular with motorcycles and leaf peepers in the Fall.
