I bought a kind of pricey yellow magnolia several years ago. I had two blooms this year and am hopeful for this one. We have such a crazy Spring with early warmth and then freezing cold again. The trunk is not much thicker than when I bought it. Must be a slow growing tree.
That is some bud…..it will look wonderful when it finally bursts open.
