I know I'm slacking again. Finally got my MRI results to confirm the ruptured disc and assorted other dx from my lower back. I see my surgeon on Monday and hope to leave with a plan. I've been trying to walk some every day, but am mostly sitting around.
It is absolutely gorgeous in Mason, Ohio these past few days. Low temps and no humidity. I sat outside most of yesterday afternoon watching Tom put the finishing touches on the new pergola that covers the deck. It will even have a hanging fan! I have Grandma Braden's (my ex husband's mother) old wicker chair to relax in. After years of not staying in touch we got very close after my ex husband had a stroke and a heart attack I ended up taking over his doctor visits as both boys were working or in school. We found a way to be friends. Grandma was a blessing in my life as I had just lost my Mom. We didn't agree on much, but we found a way to love one another again. David and Grandma died literally in days of one another. I miss them both.
You are a remarkable woman to be able to overcome all the Relationship obstacles in your life with such grace.
Sorry your back is giving you so many problems. Chronic pain cannot be fun to deal with and it makes life challenging at best. You have such a beautiful philosophy about it.❣️
@grammyn I'm not remarkable in the least. You would have done the same. David was bipolar and unmedicated for most of his life. Funny how that doesn't pop right away - and when it did he refused all help. The boys got him medicated after the stroke and he was a nice guy again. Grandma was just a blessing when I needed her in my life.
