This is for the thumbnail challenge. I am again using my bottle tree, which is one of my favorite things. The brown bottle at the top is an antique that I found on my father's workbench. It says Ohio's Kauffman's Brewing Company which went out of business here in Cincinnati during Prohibition. So that is a cool find. Why my Dad kept it I will never know. He didn't drink which makes it all the funnier.
Love your bottle tree!

What a cool tree. I know I have said this before, but it is so great how it all lines up (Yes, I know that is the point, but it is still pretty incredible to me)

This is such an amazing use of old into new. Great recycling and it's mazing how well your lines have matched up in the calender view xx

Such a great idea and I love the colours. I saw an idea the other day which included bottles, it was fab, so now I am in 'bower bird' mode to see if I can gather enough supplies to recreate something similar. Great work Cathy

Are there ethnnic or cultural origins for bottle trees? Just curious- a neighbor who lived about 12 miles from us had trees decorated with scores of bottles. A great many times when we passed, a tourist would be parked along the highway taking a photo!

@dauber From what I understand they are more popular in coastal areas. I saw in on Pinterest and my son's girlfriend found the old iron tree at an antique mall. I keep adding to it and it will make my garden something to look at in the winter.
@marlboromaam Thanks Maggie. I love it. I need some more bottles.
@filsie65 Thank you Phil.
@maggiemae Nope - no black bottles. Brown is as close as I come.
@aurorajane It really is something to look at no matter what the weather. Cheerful.
@worthitall Come on over. I'd love to have you.
