The photo a day challenge was feet. If they wanted to see pedicured instead of pedigreed they should have been more specific. I know she needs a trim on those hairs (we actually are in the midst of grooming Maggie. We do it ourselves due to her Addison's Disease and it is always a several day process to save my back).
Have you heard the old expression meeting yourself coming and going? Well that is where I am. Lucky to even get my shots up. I am behind on viewing and thanking and I'm afraid it will be that way for a few more days. This is the big move for Michael and I have been tied up helping with packing. Today was to have been the closings here and in Indianapolis with Garrett spending a fun packed day with Papa and me. There I was on my hands and knees yesterday strapping boxes of kitchen spices when the phone rang. Everything was on hold. No closings would be happening today. I can't even say what was going through our heads when we thought the house of cards had fallen apart. After having a house on the market for almost two years, selling to folks from Texas, finding a house in a whirlwind weekend and pushing everyone so that Garrett could start school with everyone else next Wednesday it was all on hold. To make a long story short we will do it all again on Monday. They will sit through two closings and Papa and I will handle the movers in Cincinnati and they will be in Indianapolis on Tuesday in time for the first day of Kindergarten. I hope we all figure out Skype so I can see my boy's face when he tells me about it.
I cut Flippers hair and he's pretty good about it except when I try to cut around his paws. It must be a sensitive area. He gives me a real hard time when I try to trim his feet.
Adorable capture, Cathy ...he looks very relaxed right now! Hang in there, dear. It will all happen ... and hopefully all will go smoothly for all of you next week. Garrett will be fine, I'm sure ... it's the adults who feel the stress!! Prayers and hugs. P.S. I'm a wife of an Air Force vet and I know ALL about moving and problems. :)
Not sure what you mean about closings? Sounds a bit traumatic so strength to you from me for what lies ahead! Cute paws - I've never cut any of my dogs paws!
What roller coaster!...such is life...am I right? I miss having a dog and their furry love....they are so worth the time it takes to maintain them :-).
I feel for your son and his wife. Buying a house can be so nerve racking. I'm sure it will all work out. Garrett will do just fine--kids are so much more resilient that we adults.
