(Day 105) - No Stone Unturned

Was trying all kinds of compositions with these stacked rocks, many of which had them located in the light you see shining behind them. However, just about all of those exposures looked hideous. So I tried situating them on the strip of shadow the chair was giving off and it helped highlight the details much better.

~Thank you guys for the recent comments you all made to some of my photos over the past couple of days. Our power was out just about all day yesterday >:( and super busy day today but will try to catch up with many of you soon! :)
A very zen composition. I like it.

lovely composition and idea, though I don't think the background is necessary here. Lovely stack of rocks too! Well done!

@angelat - @angelat - Thanks very much Angela! You're right about the background, it's a bit distracting. I should have cropped it or moved in closer. Thanks for the feedback!

@roddy - haha nope! I chose pebbles that were sort of flat on the bottom and they were surprisingly very easy to balance. My only issue was the wind kept knocking them over so it took much patience.

I like how they all have a shine to them...it is busy...but the stones still stand out.
