Taking another break from CJ's LA Tour today because my car needed some repairs. So CJ is taking some macro shots. He likes to call the yellow parts of these flowers their "faces" because they match his yellow complexion.
By the way, do you know why Lego faces are yellow? Here's what the Lego Company has to say: "We want every one of our fans, wherever they live and whatever their own skin color, to imagine themselves as part of the action. When we invented minifigures almost 40 years ago, we chose yellow because it’s a neutral “skin color” – nobody in real life has bright yellow skin, so Lego minifigures don’t represent a specific race or ethnic background and nobody is left out."
There are some Lego people with flesh colored complexions but most of them are yellow. This is very similar to why the smiley face is usually yellow. Just a fun tidbit for your day. 😄🌼
