CJ is now in Venice. No...we haven't traveled to Italy. This is Venice, Los Angeles. The majority of Venice is a typical large city sitting next to the popular Venice Beach.
However, this small historic district is called the Venice Canals, which was built in 1905 as a miniature version of Venice, Italy.
Ducks were lazily lodging in canoes, visitors were leisurely strolling down the walkways, and arched bridges added to the serene landscaping along with gorgeous houses. CJ found this to be very calming compared to the hustle and bustle of city life that we're used to. πΆπ
I was there in October -- great to see how beautiful CJ has made it look, with your help of course. This is where my nephew lives, though not on the canals.
@taffy - Thank you very much Taffy! How wonderful of you to visit our little slice of Venice back in October and that you got to see your nephew too. It's a nice, calming place. :)
Thank you all ever so much for your encouraging words! I really wanted to capture the area, reflections, and little CJ in a way that refreshed you all. I did forget about all the cold weather elsewhere; stay warm my friends.
