(Day 211) - CJ & the Mystery

Some friends kindly gave us a bunch of fruits and vegetables. CJ was fascinated by this...thing. It has the texture between an onion and a melon. Do any of you know what it is? I'm guessing a melon. 🤔

At first blush it appears to be a HoneyDew Melon (light green flesh) - is it not? From what I can see too, it looks like it's a sweet one

If it is not a honeydew melon it could be spaghetti squash. It’s a fantastic shot of CJ taking a picture of it. The best way to figure out what it is is cut it open! You could add the tag yellow and once you open it, fruit or vegetable. Can’t wait to see what you discover.

Thanks everyone. The color was so light that I was thinking it was a squash too. But, I did as many of you suggested and sliced it opened. All is revealed in the next photo.
