Meeting on land

When I got out of the car to start the walk I was met by both geese and Mallards. I wondered why they weren't on the water. Then my hat took off and landed 75 metres away and the rain started from the horizontal. We jumped back in the car a then walked in a more sheltered location. I did retrieved my hat/baseball cap

I bet the geese won this encounter, they can be quite aggressive. Glad you retrieved your hat.
